The Turkana County Public Service Board has clarified an editorial mistake in a recent job advertisement that was mistakenly published under the “County Government of Kakamega” in The Standard on February 4, 2025.
In a statement, the board assured the public that the correction would be published in the newspaper on February 6, 2025. They emphasized that the error does not impact the recruitment process and that applications should still be directed to the Turkana County Public Service Board.
“We thank The Standard Media Group for their prompt correction and apologize for any confusion caused,” the statement read in part.
The board also encouraged applicants to use official contact channels for further inquiries.
