Popular Kenyan artist Dufla Diligon has finally met the young Turkana boy whose passionate rendition of his hit song “Donjo Maber” went viral online, sparking a heated debate among fans.

Amid growing criticism from netizens accusing him of neglecting the boy, Dufla took to his social media to clarify the situation.

“Niko na Kijanaa stop spreading the RUMOURS. Follow him @fab_true,” he posted, sharing a video of their meeting.

The artist’s action comes after residents of Turkana shared that Dufla had dispatched his team to locate the talented street boy, an effort many see as an attempt to extend support and repair his public image following the backlash.

The online debate was triggered by a viral video showing the young boy passionately vibing to “Donjo Maber”, Dufla’s collaboration with Iyanii. Many Kenyans expressed disappointment that the artist had allegedly failed to acknowledge or support the child during his visit to Lodwar for a club performance on Friday.
