The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has rolled out a nationwide outreach programme aimed at helping Form Four graduates apply for courses in the 2026/2027 academic cycle.

In a notice published on the MyGov platform, KUCCPS announced that it has stationed officers in 72 institutions across the country to offer free support to applicants pursuing degree, diploma, and certificate programmes.

Chief Executive Officer Agnes Mercy Wahome said the initiative seeks to guide and mobilise school leavers as they apply for placements in universities and colleges. She noted that students in need of assistance or career advice can visit the designated centres between April 13 and April 24, 2026.

“Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has rolled out a national campaign to mobilise and support Form Four leavers applying for programmes offered in universities and colleges for the 2026/2027 Placement Cycle. Applicants who require assistance or career guidance should visit any of the following institutions, where KUCCPS officers have been deployed to assist, from Monday, April 13 2026 to Friday 24 April 2026,” stated CEO Agnes Mercy Wahome.

The campaign primarily targets students who are uncertain about course selection and career pathways, including those applying to universities, colleges, and technical and vocational education institutions.

According to Wahome, the support centres will operate for 12 days, offering hands-on guidance to ensure applicants successfully navigate the placement system. She urged students to take advantage of the service by visiting centres within their respective counties.

The listed institutions span all 47 counties and include public universities such as University of Nairobi, Moi University, Egerton University, and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology, Turkana University College, alongside private universities like Africa Nazarene University, Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and Zetech University.
