
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced an immediate intake for 31 certificate and diploma programmes at the Kenya Medical Training College.
The two-week application window targets candidates who attained grades C and D in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
In a notice issued on Tuesday, April 21, KUCCPS said the opportunity is aimed at students who missed the earlier application cycle but are still interested in pursuing careers in the health sector.
“Interested in medical courses? KUCCPS and KMTC are offering another chance to apply for diploma and certificate programmes for immediate intake,” the placement body stated.
The available programmes span key areas such as community health, nutrition, medical engineering, and health records, all aligned with current labour market demands. The courses emphasise practical, hands-on training to prepare graduates for the workforce.

Applicants are required to submit their applications through the KUCCPS student portal. They will need their KCSE index number, year of examination, and password (KCPE index number or birth certificate number).
The application deadline is May 6, 2026, and prospective students are encouraged to apply early due to limited slots.
This announcement follows the recent opening of KUCCPS applications for university degree placements and ongoing TVET admissions.
