Sigor Member of Parliament, Hon. Peter Lochakapong, has sharply criticized Pokot South MP David Pkosing for what he described as inciteful and divisive remarks made during a recent radio interview.
Pkosing had reportedly targeted President William Ruto’s allies and IEBC Chairperson Erastus Ethekon, prompting a strong response from Lochakapong.
Hon. Lochakapong accused Pkosing of political hypocrisy and double-speak, stating:
“You cannot call the President’s allies brokers and fight the President’s empowerment agenda, then in the same breath claim to be working with the President. That is political dishonesty and misleading to the people.”
The Sigor legislator further commended Gideon Moi for joining hands with President Ruto, saying the move demonstrated unity among Kalenjin leaders.
He urged leaders to embrace political maturity and refrain from divisive rhetoric, stressing that national cohesion is key to advancing the President’s development agenda.
