Three Turkana MPs Ranked Among Rift Valley’s Best Performing Legislators
Three Members of Parliament from Turkana County have been ranked among the county’s top-performing legislators in the latest 2026 Infotrak leadership survey.
According to the rankings, Loima MP Protus Akuja emerged as the best-performing MP in Turkana with a 66% approval score. He was followed closely by Turkana West MP Daniel Nanok, who scored 65%, while Turkana East MP Nicholas Ngikolong secured third place with a 62% rating.
The rankings were released as part of Infotrak’s assessment of the top three Members of Parliament in each county across the Rift Valley region. The survey evaluates legislators based on their performance, leadership, service delivery, and representation of constituents.
The results highlight the performance of Turkana’s MPs compared to their counterparts in other Rift Valley counties, including West Pokot, Samburu, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, and Elgeyo Marakwet.
