The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) officials in Turkana have announced full preparedness for the Nanam and Lake Zone ward by-elections scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025.
According to the officials, all election materials have been delivered to the respective polling centres, with clerks, presiding officers, and other staff fully trained ahead of the vote. The commission added that security arrangements have been finalized, with officers deployed to ensure a smooth and secure electoral process.
The by-elections are expected to attract heightened interest, with candidates and political parties intensifying their final campaigns as the polling day approaches.
IEBC assured residents that all systems are in place to guarantee a credible, transparent, and peaceful exercise.
