Kenyans breathed a sigh of relief Thursday evening after ten-man Harambee Stars battled to a 1-1 draw against Angola in a tense clash at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.

Angola took an early lead in the 6th minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse to silence the home crowd. But Harambee Stars responded swiftly, with Austin Odhiambo netting a brilliant equalizer in the 12th minute

Despite being reduced to ten men later in the match, Kenya held firm, frustrating the Angolan attack with a resolute defensive display and securing a crucial point.

With the draw, Harambee Stars now sit on four points and one goal in Group ‘A’ of the CHAN competition.
