“Kuleni Pesa Lakini Msifuate Pesa” Ekuwom Nabuin Urges Lakezone Ward Voters to Support ODM Candidate Obiro
Turkana Gubernatorial hopeful Ekuwom Nabuin has urged voters in Lakezone Ward to support ODM candidate Stephen Ekiru Lochilil, popularly known as Obiro, during his campaign tour of the area.
While addressing residents, Nabuin emphasized integrity in politics, cautioning voters against being swayed by money.
“Najua pesa itakuja. Kuleni pesa, lakini musifuate pesa,” he said, encouraging the electorate to vote based on leadership qualities rather than financial inducements.
Nabuin also questioned the continued lack of basic necessities such as food, clean water, and medical supplies, despite a significant increase in county allocations compared to the previous administration. He said this was one of the main reasons he decided to contest for the gubernatorial seat to ensure prudent use of public funds and deliver tangible services to the people of Turkana.
His visit to Lakezone Ward is part of his broader efforts to consolidate grassroots support ahead of the upcoming Lakezone bye-elections.
