Loima MP Prutus Akuja Questions PSC Over Prof. Napoo’s Exclusion in Turkana University Deputy Principal Hiring

Loima Member of Parliament Prutus Akuja has called on the Parliamentary Committee on Education to explain the recruitment process for the Deputy Principal position at Turkana University, following the exclusion of Professor Michael Napoo.

While speaking in the National Assembly, Akuja claimed that Prof. Napoo missed the interview after the Public Service Commission (PSC) failed to notify him of the new interview date. He described the move as a violation of the principles of fairness and equal opportunity.

In response, the Education Committee promised to look into the issue and table a report in Parliament within the next two weeks.
