SHA Declares 64 Vacancies in Senior Management Positions | Requirements| How To Apply

The Social Health Authority (SHA) has declared 64 senior managerial positions vacant and is seeking to recruit at least 64 members in a bid to enhance institutional capacity and deliver on its mandate.
The new senior position vacancies come just months after the appointment of Dr. Mercy Mwangangi as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Social Health Authority (SHA).
Following a gazette notice released by the government on Tuesday, July 28, 2025, the Authority stated that the recruitment is aimed at further improving its delivery.
” SHA Board seeks to recruit visionary, result-driven, and experienced professionals for the following Senior Management positions,” read part of the statement.
In addition, the Authority has highlighted that applicants must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution while submitting their applications.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya by submitting valid and current copies of the following:
1. Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
2. Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority.
3. Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
4. Clearance Certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
5. Report from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates should submit their applications, including:
1. A detailed curriculum vitae.

4. A cover letter demonstrating suitability for the position.

Applications can be submitted online at https://recruitment.sha.go.ke or physically delivered to SHA building (10th floor), clearly marking the position applied for on the envelope.

According to the authority, interested applicants are directed to visit the SHA website to review the job descriptions and the advertisement before submitting their applications.

In addition, interested candidates can submit their applications online, further adding that they can also deliver them at the SHA building located in Upper Hill.
Similarly, the Authority has warned interested applicants against going out to engage people directly in favour of the job, as it shall lead to disqualification.
