Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga has outlined three irreducible minimums, suggesting he is ready for open talks with President William Ruto despite denying his undertakings.

In an interview with local KTN News on Tuesday, 28th February 2023, Raila however gave three suggestions which he maintains Ruto must meet to create room for negotiations in the near future.
They include;
1. the opening of IEBC servers,
2. Addressing the increasing cost of living,

3. Immediate halt of the recruitment process of the IEBC commissioners
He maintained that the recruitment of IEBC commissioners can’t be appointed by one side of the government.
“I will not drop the barazas but can consider it on three conditions; First, Ruto must agree to open the server, he must stop recruitment of IEBC commissioners and third he should address the issue of the cost of living in the country,” he noted

His remark came amid calls for mass action as he plans to convene public barazas on the way forward.
