Kilifi: A Pastor (55) Arrested for Allegedly Defiling 14-Year-old Girl

Police in Tezo Mbuyuni, in Kilifi county have arrested the Jesus Revelation Center (JRC) pastor, Mr. Gilbert Kenga, for allegedly having an affair with a 14-year-old girl.
According to a village elder, Mr. Macdonald Kenga, the girl was a ‘devoted’ church member.
The parent’s eyebrows were raised after the girl begun spending nights at the church in disguise of having prayers.
“Alikuwa mshirika kwenye kanisa la mchungaji huyo. Baada ya muda kidogo huyo mtoto alianza kukesha kwenye kanisa pamoja na mchungaji na hilo likaibua maswali zaidi. Familia ya huyo mtoto ilifuatilia na ikaleta hiyo kesi kwangu kama mzee wa Nyumba Kumi,” Macdonald said.
Further, Mr. Macdonald said there were several warnings to the pastor. But, all ended in futility.
He added: “Familia juzi ikafuatilia tena kujaribu kumshawishi aachane na huyo mtoto asilale kwa kanisa ila mchungaji hakusikia.”
