Gachagua Accuses Raila Odinga of Chasing Power Without Responsibility

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has launched a fresh attack on ODM leader Raila Odinga, accusing him of pursuing political power while avoiding responsibility for the country’s problems.
Speaking during a public engagement in the United States, Gachagua alleged that Raila has a pattern of creating political crises, later joining the government, and reaping its benefits.
“Raila likes power but doesn’t like to be responsible. He creates problems, gets invited to the government and starts to eat. Like now, that is why he is currently quiet,” Gachagua said.
The former DP’s remarks appear to reference Raila’s recent cooperation with President William Ruto’s administration, which he claims has muted the opposition leader’s criticism of the government.
