Claims Emerge of Anti-Lomorukai Campaign Talks Among Turkana MPs

Allegations have surfaced that five Members of Parliament from Turkana County are engaged in consultations aimed at mobilising an anti-Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai political campaign.
The claims involve Turkana Central MP Emathe Namwar, Turkana North MP Ekwom Nabuin, Turkana West MP Daniel Epuyo, Loima MP Protus Akujah, and Turkana South MP Ariko Namoit.
According to the allegations, the leaders are said to be holding discussions intended to coordinate political messaging against the county boss in the 2027 general election.
Turkana Central MP Emathe Namwar is the latest to hint at the alleged consultations. Speaking in Kerio on Friday, Namwar made remarks that observers interpreted as an indication of ongoing political engagements among some Turkana leaders, though he did not explicitly name those involved or outline the nature of the discussions.
Turkana East MP Ngikolong Nicholas has been excluded from the alleged group and is said not to be part of the reported talks.
There has been no official confirmation of the alleged meetings, and none of the named legislators had publicly responded to the claims at the time of publication.
