“Bomas is under repair,” Uhuru’s Jubilee told ahead of Party’s NDC

The Bomas of Kenya management has asked Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee party to reconsider the venue for their National Delegates Conference (NDC) slated for Monday, May 22.
Speaking to a local publication, the management said the Bomas of Kenya is currently undergoing repair, which is projected to end in mid of June.
“The closure for repairs was pre-planned and was not for political reasons. There will be no events for eight weeks,” they said.
Perhaps the party has not issued an official statement regarding the closure of Bomas, the former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni has now claimed that the move is politically motivated.
Further, he said they have secured two more places to host the meeting should Bomas not consider their prayer.
“We want to assure the delegates of Jubilee that an NDC will be there on Monday. We have secured another venue, we have actually secured two more venues,” Kioni said.
