Six Dead in a Grisly Road Accident Along Eldoret-Turbo Highway

Preliminary reports indicate that a 14-seater Matatu was heading to Kitale when it collided with a tractor said to be plying the route without headlights.

At least six people have lost their lives in an Eldoret-Turbo high road accident.

This was after an accident involving a 14-seater Matatu and a tractor occurred along the Eldoret-Turbo highway.

As a result of the accident, another vehicle owned by a parastatal rammed into the PSV vehicle.

The parastatal vehicle belonged to Kenya Roads Authority,

Preliminary reports indicate that a 14-seater Matatu was heading to Kitale when it collided with a tractor said to be plying the route without headlights.

Among those who died in the accident are the drivers of the Matatu and parastatal vehicles.

Several passengers who were injured during the accident were rushed to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.

The wreckages of the vehicles were towed to the nearby Yamumbi Police Station.
